Published by Cambridge University Press and Kaplan International colleges, 'Skills and Language for Study' is a course in academic skills and academic English for International students preparing for or starting university-level studies.
Academic texts and lectures on a range of themes provide the source material through which academic skills and language are introduced, explored and used with increasingly challenging, subject-specific and authentic contexts.
'Skills for Study Level 1' focuses on areas such as understanding lectures, analysing texts, selecting the best sources from libraries, referencing and structuring presentations.
Each unit of the book also features:
