In 1947, as India underwent partition and thousands fled for their lives, Anglo-Indian Ross Monroe was betrayed twice by a man called Skinner and sent into exile. 60 years later and several worlds away, Rosss son is condemned to take up the search for Skinner, to set his father, his family and himself free.
